These results may shed light on a critical stage of galactic evolution for early galaxies, where young galaxies begin the transformation to be increasingly like their later, more structured cousins. The observations were presented today in a press conference at the 240th meeting of the American Astronomical Society (AAS) in Pasadena, California, and will be published in an upcoming edition of The Astrophysical Journal (ApJ).

Go to Source
Author:

The latest science news on astronomy, astrobiology, and space exploration from Phys.org.

SPACEPERIUM CORPS & RESEARCH CONTRIBUTORS

Please comment below with research and links for fellow members to conduct further research into this area.
You must be registered and signed into SPACEPERIUM BLOG in order to leave your comment and get credited!

Evidence that early galaxies may be bigger and more complex than previously thought Scientists using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array…

[1

post-789","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-spaceperium-news
["GET
